| O concourse of divines! Beware lest ye be the cause of strife in the land, even as ye were the cause of the repudiation of the Faith in its early days. Gather the people around this Word that hath made the pebbles to cry out: "The Kingdom is God's, the Dawning- place of all signs!" Thus doth your Lord admonish you, as a bounty on His part; He, of a truth, is the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous. | |

| O assembly of the learned! Beware not to be the means of discord throughout the countries as ye have been the cause of oppression in the beginning of this matter. Bring the people together to this word, whereby the people crieth out, "The kingdom is to God, the dayspring of the signs." Thus doth God admonish you as a bounty on His part. Verily, He is the forgiver, the generous. | |

| O assembly of the learned men, take care that you are not the cause of disagreement in various places as you were the cause of turning away (from God) at the beginning. Get the people to agree together on this Word (al-kalima) with which the stones cry out, "Sovereignty belongs to God, the Rising-place of the Signs." Thus does God warn you because of a Grace on His part. He is, indeed, the Generous Forgiver. | |
