About: This essay will explore how Shoghi Effendi prepared the Bahá’í world for the Ten Year Crusade. It will examine the twenty-seven objectives he formulated and will explain the impediments which prevented the implementation of some of those objectives. Finally, it will consider the place of the Crusade in history as well as future developments destined to flow from it, as seen by Shoghi Effendi.
