  1. Bahá'u'lláh. William F. McCants, trans. Changing Pronouns and Dropping 'Say' in Prayers (2010-09). One short paragraph which explains that it is acceptable to substitute "and make him" with "and make me" when reciting prayers. It is also acceptable to omit the prefatory "Say" in invocations.
  2. Universal House of Justice. Permission to Change Pronouns in Private Prayer (2022-02-10). Bahá'u'lláh's permission to change the pronoun when reciting a prayer (e.g. from "him" to "me") should be applied only when it is recited in private and only by changing the third person to the first, where appropriate.
