Abstract:
Translation of a Tablet from from the Adrianople period, about the requirements for having an enlightened self and living spirit. Almost half of its passages were included in Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh.

Introduction: Name: This is a Tablet revealed by Bahá’u’lláh and commonly known by the name: "Persian Tablet of Aḥmad" in order to distinguish it from another Tablet which is commonly known by the name "Tablet of Aḥmad" included in most of the prayer books. The latter is revealed in Arabic and addressed to a person by the name Aḥmad from Yazd, while the former is revealed in Persian in the honor of a person with the name Aḥmad from Káshán.
