Mírzá Yaḥyámere-zaw-ya-h-yawTreacherous half-brother of Bahá’u’lláh and “Arch-Breaker of the Covenant of the Báb.” The Báb never named a successor, vicegerent or interpreter; He nominated Mírzá Yaḥyá (Ṣubḥ-i-Azal) merely “as a figure-head pending the imminent manifestation of the Promised One.” (GPB 28; 233). Mírzá Yaḥyá is stigmatized as “This vain and flaccid man” “befooled and manipulated” by Siyyid Muḥammad. (GPB 112).
