Wilford Johnson

country-folk singer/songwriter, musician, U.S.A

Wilford Lee Johnson was born in Marion, NC, USA in 1934. In the early 1970's he had a dream which inspired him to begin a career of songwriting and singing, and doing less construction work. Wilford's songs have a Country Music flavor with the universal Bahá´í themes of peace, equality of men and women, love of God, etc. He produced two music cassettes "Wildfire", and "Let's Try Peace for Awhile", in the 1980's and 1990's.

  • Announcement: about his new music cassette, BAFA newsletter, June 1993
