photography, The Netherlands / Turkey.

Coskun Dogruluk, 2003

Raised in Turkey, he has been taking photographs since 1994 after some photoclub lessons.

A Bahá´í since 1991, he has had some photos published in magazines in Istanbul.

Most of his photos concern the human environment. In Turkey it was easier to find subjects for his work because people's expressions and life there is more openly visible.

In the Netherlands, where he has lived since 1998, he has found it harder to break through the surface to find the story behind the person or the situation.
